Moore County Imaging Services is a service of Moore County Hospital District. As such, we provide our patients with access to a patient estimate tool and charge file in order to be transparent with our pricing. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Listed below is contact information for individuals who feel a facility or provider has violated the state of federal requirements against balance billing.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit (if your State does not have guidelines relating to No Surprises Billing, contact the Department of Health and Human Services)

Please understand, that due to vast differences in insurance coverages, the price quoted is an estimate and does not represent a guaranteed price. The actual price you pay may be higher or lower than this estimate. Because this is only an estimate, the amount you owe may change. The charges listed in this file are provided in accordance with federal regulations at 45 C.F.R. § 180 and the definitions of standard charges included therein. Charges will be assessed based on actual services provided. However, the charges listed in this file do not reflect the actual out-of-pocket costs patients can expect to pay for items and services provided by the hospital.
Insured patients should consult their health plan’s policies for expected out-of-pocket costs. In some cases a single line item charge may not represent a complete medical service; in many cases multiple charge line items are necessary to represent all components of a service (e.g., procedure(s), supplies, drugs, and professional fees). The prices listed are updated from time to time to reflect changes.
